I think that it should be possible to remove your posts even after two days and so.Not long ago did I by misstake a dubblepost and I could not remove it because it had gone to long time.

You can remove any post of yours as long as another post hasn't been posted in the same topic after it. Therefore, if you make a double-post, you can delete one (or both) of the posts, if you'd like, as long as that topic has not been replied to after you've made the post. It's a good system because it prevents people from removing their posts from a topic if their posts have been replied to, and that can misconstrue an entire topic.
