There are rulers, there are generals.

Everything has a leader, and most of the time someone has to be that leader.

It's generally easier for one not to. Even if they know how to handle, it still is not fair for everyone else. The rules are there to make things more fair.

Example, I have to work for something while another person says this to be done and has it done because they said "OH IM A NOBLE" in their character sheet. How is THAT fair? No matter how you play it, no matter how much you do it, it isn't fair.

Life isn't fair. Neither is RPing.

I RP more than you bud, sorry on this one. Lords are real, thus, they may be RPed.

Lords don't go after one person though. In most RPs where there are Lords, they are in conflict with those of their social class. In other words:

Lord 1: Hey, Lord 2, let's pawn Lord 3...
Lord 2: Sure dude! (mwhahaha, I am going to stab him in the back)
Lord 3: Nooooo
Lord 2, in private chat with Lord 3: I am going to help you out, I will give you his plans, then we will pawn him.
Lord 3: ok man

I think this has strayed from the rule itself, from looking back on it.

The original rule is not choosing extreme characters (child the influential A and B) and extraordinary abilities. Including royalty. Now, as for the rules themselves, they aren't for people who RP very often, they are for the people who don't RP often. Newcomers and the like. Whether or not someone can play the character right is not up-to-debate. Its a matter of if everyone can chose to be an extraordinary character in the first place. Everyone, the people who don't RP often, and the people who do. So, it's a catch-all, it's there to help things be a bit more fair, and I don't care if life isn't fair, or anything, that's why there are the rules for RP's. To keep order and be fair, and that's it.

That is called UBERNESS.

A character can be powerful, as long as it is logical.

However, Godzilla can't be knocking down the white-gold tower...

Uberness is being extremely powerful and going out of the bounds of realism.

Seriously, where is this discussion going? The rules for the Role-Playing Forum weren't even our own. They were copied with consent from another website that we trusted. In all honesty, I don't know enough about forum role-playing to make a sufficient list of rules for such a forum. Just follow the rules that have been established, as they are quite fair. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask, but I don't see what you're getting at with going against the royalty rule, Grayfox.

Ninja better shut his little 8 year old mouth, now.

The discussion is pointless.
