On that note, I'll get you lot to guess where I'm from - the nation that founded Britain (hint: it's not England).

It works all the same, basically

In that case, America shall now be referred to as Washington. Anyone who thinks England, that was the nation that lost its independence when the UK was founded, is Britain is wrong. Simple as that. It's effectively a conquered state, even though the conquest wasn't military, and has had no political power of its own for four hundred years.

Granted, a conquered state on average richer and for the most part more powerful than the nation of the king that took the English throne, but a conquered state nonetheless.

can i join your union because i dont like belonging to england with our stupid german queen

Besides the part about being from England, I'm in exactly the same position :D

At least I know your capital, so before you judge, check your own facts.

The capital is London, which is in England. So should I call America Washington? And I'm not judging, I'm just stating a few facts here because I don't agree with the continued exclusion of my race because of faulty definitions.

The capitol is actually Washington D.C. There is also a state called Washington, so maybe that's where that was coming from.

And btw, I'm from Texas as well, Dallas area.

The capital of America is Washington. You're ruled from Washington, not by it. Same here. We're ruled from England, not by it.

Are you doing this on purpose now?

The official name for the capital of the United States of America would be Washington, D.C. (Washington, District of Columbia). Washington, D.C. actually is not located in any official state. It is located in the District of Columbia, which is between the states of Maryland and Virginia, but is not considered an official state.
