The Elder Stats is a website that receives a large influx of content each day. With this in mind, please be sure to first understand that, while the Board of Moderation does the best they can to keep The Elder Stats clean, in line with the general law and copyright law, and compliant with our rules, it is nearly impossible for the Board of Moderation to review every article of content that is entered into The Elder Stats databases. If you are to come across material that you believe could be classified as illegal, not compliant with The Elder Stats Site Rulebook, obscene, vulgar, offensive, or otherwise undesirable or objectionable for whatever reason, it must be considered not yet seen by any members of the Board of Moderation. If you come across material such as this, please contact a member of the Board of Moderation and alert them of this content immediately. If you find that character profiles, comments, or forum posts meet this criteria, you have the ability to report this suspected material using the Report feature located near each of these items. Please understand that The Elder Stats administration, the Board of Moderation, members, and any other party associated with The Elder Stats cannot be held responsible for undesirable or objectionable content being publicly posted on The Elder Stats — only the author of such content can be held responsible for his/her actions. Every article of content that is posted on The Elder Stats website displays the name of the author who has posted it. If you wish to report a specific member to the Board of Moderation for constant negligence of The Elder Stats Site Rulebook or our Terms of Use, you are certainly welcome to do so. Please read The Elder Stats Disclaimer for more information regarding the liability that The Elder Stats holds for inappropriate, illegal, or otherwise objectionable content posted publicly on our website.

The Elder Stats is home to a fairly large community of members. Please understand that each member is important to our community, and disrespect will not be tolerated nor handled with a light hand. Any member found to have been mistreating other members will be dealt with firmly. Warnings and bans will be issued, if necessary, given the degree of the situation. The Elder Stats is meant to be a fun and enjoyable community for all members, and we appreciate your cooperation in being a good and rule-abiding member of our community. Remember: the rules and guidelines are not in place for any other purpose except to keep The Elder Stats clean and the members content. Along with respecting the members, you are also asked to respect those in charge. The administration and the Board of Moderation work diligently on their own free time to maintain The Elder Stats and keep it legitimate. Disrespect shown towards administrators and moderators will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The Board of Moderation always has the final say in issues regarding content validity and compliance, and no member can deny their authority in such situations. The Board of Moderation has the power to warn and ban any member who they feel is violating any rule or guideline by which The Elder Stats is governed. If you feel that a member of the Board of Moderation is abusing their powers, however, you may report this type of situation to any administrator via private message and the issue will be investigated and sorted out.

Any content which you enter into our website in any way may be stored in our databases. Although we employ security on our website to prevent our servers and databases from being compromised and our members' information safe, you must understand that it is impossible to prevent every such instance of a break-in or compromising of our servers and/or databases; thus, understand that any and all content that you publish on our website and/or forums, and/or submit to our website in any manner, is not guaranteed to be completely and definitely safe from being unintentionally compromised. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you never input any sensitive data of any kind into our website, whether it be in a public or a private area. We cannot be held responsible for any data of yours that is leaked from our servers and/or databases in the event of their being compromised. We stipulate this in order to protect your personal information from falling into the wrong hands. The Elder Stats is meant to provide a fun and enjoyable environment for our members. Most members are truthful when posting statistical data for their characters. With this in mind, please refrain from posting any false statistics or information for any of the characters that you have on your account. Posting false statistics for your characters is quite pointless. If at any time a Board of Moderation member finds any of your characters' profiles to contain false or exaggerated statistics or information, they have the right to take action. Profiles found to contain false or exaggerated statistics or information will be hidden on sight with the creator of the character notified immediately via private message. We want you to enjoy your experience on The Elder Stats, and part of enjoying your experience here is posting legitimate statistics for your characters so that you can effectively compare your characters to other characters, get comprehensive feedback on your characters, and truly enjoy your experience here on The Elder Stats.

On a final note, it is unwise to excessively post invalid content on The Elder Stats that has no place here. The main example of such action is spamming. Spamming of any kind on The Elder Stats website or forum will not be tolerated. The Board of Moderation reserves the right to disable your account from being able to add new content to our website, as well as to modify existing content of yours, if need be. If you continue to spam The Elder Stats with senseless content, you will be warned and banned as needed. Spamming will not be tolerated on The Elder Stats.
