Leveling Glitch??

I've got a question and wanted to see if anyone else has came across this. My armorer skill is at 56, which should be a journeyman level, yet it says that I'm only an apprentice. I've got another skil that is at 56 as well and is says journeyman. It's a pain because I am unable to repair any of my enchanted items. Has anyone else ever seen this, is there a way to correct this.

Is your armorer skill level green? If so, it's being fortified so it's not actually 56. It's probably below 50, so that's why you can't use the journeyman level perk.

Makes sense. I'll check it out tonight. I'm a little red\green color blind so I probably don't notice it.

I checked and I am wearing some sort of ring or amulet that is fortifying my Armorer skill by a +10. It wasn't green or anything like that. These are good things to know. Thanks again.
