swords and spell. heres a few tactics

blasty stabby: i parylyze and stab, rinse repeat, parylyze stab.

last resort: whenever im going up against the good old boss i ready a good old spell to fry the good old boss extra toasty

blast and run: my most used. usually used on regular foes, ive got a cripple spell that does all 3 types of destruction damage. so if im up against a frost atronach i wont get frozen alive.

shield and chop: i shield about 30% and make my blade to the enemy as salami to a knife.

It is too bad that Hand-to-hand is only punching and blocking. I'd like to rack up XP with serious combos and counters. Like taking hold of the enemy's thrusting arm and throw them over your shoulder, then stomp then into the ground with one heel. Then then block two blows from another foe, right before you slam your fist into their gut and finish it with an uppercut. "Who's Next?"

That could be something they're working on for Elder Scrolls V. I agree that more variety in the game would make it more interesting and realistic.
