Finding Your Mod Index Value

Postby Kestral » February 27th, 2009, 3:10 am

I made this to help a few people.

What it does is find the "xx" in "xxyyyyyy" for a hexadecimal value for your mods.
So, if yyyyyy is 00000F and the mod is second in your mod list, this will find the xx. In this case, it would be 100000F.

I made this to find xx so it can be used with yyyyyy to get the desired outcome whilst using the console.

This works for Oblivion and Fallout 3.

A mod is basically a player-made expansion for the game. It can add/change just about anything in the game, (e.g. quests, items, etc.).

Yes, you can only get mods on the PC.

Most Oblivion mods for the PC are free, unless the author of the mod chooses to put it up for sale.

That's not a mod, that's an Official Plug-in.

No, you still have to pay for Official Plug-ins on the PC. The only ones that are free are the player-created mods.
