Favorite Weapon?
Re: Favorite Weapon?
I find it harder to level up my Blunt skill as opposed to my Blade skill, and both of them are minor skills. Note sure exactly why, but maybe it's just me.

Maybe it takes less hits to kill someone with it, therefore, less hits means less EXP? IDK...

Blades and Blunts. But I like making spells too. not much of a marksman.

Marksman and Blades for me. Marksman first, usually. I blow through the cave and sewer on every profile in style... and with stealth.

I try going through caves with stealth with a bow, but eventually my adrenaline gets the better of me and I end up drawing my claymore and attacking the enemies in close combat.

You sound like my friend. He only uses EXTREMELY big weapons, e.i. Claymores, Battle Axes, and other two handed weapons. But it doesn't matter what weapon I use, I can still sneak through entire caves with only a few minor detections.
Then there is the problem of those who are detected by many opponents at once.
Now, if stealth characters (usually) have low health and magicka, what would be the best way to get out of close combat of 5 or more opponents? You only have a blade (longsword) and you bow and arrows. (What would you do?)

True but since most blade weapons are lighter you can swing them faster and accumulate less fatigue in doing so. Therefore someone with a blade and blunt of equal damage potential and skill would do more damage with the blade. The biggest advantage to blunt weapons is they break down armor more quickly.

Re: Favorite Weapon?
True. I'd like it if they would give us a weapon customization/creation process in the next Elder Scrolls game. Of course, it would have to be balenced, like if the mass = _____ and weight = 10 lb. then maximum swing speed =_______
And so on.
And so on.
