On Gamespot, they are holding a vote for the All Time Greatest Video Game Hero. There are a few different match-ups, but there is one where it is Gordon Freeman vs. Snake. You must vote for Gordon Freeman.

He's no lab geek, he's pretty much up there with Chuck Norris. He's a friggin' beast.

You've obviously never played the Half-Life series, or if you have then you don't get how much of a beast you would have to be to have been able to escape Black Mesa, then go through City 17, escape City 17, then fight through a huge forest full of soldiers and "robotical" enemies the size of sky scrapers, and survive to see a sequel. No "lab geek" could do that. Not all smart people have to be geeks, by the way.

On the other hand, maybe you're a Halo fan and hate the Half-Life series. I don't know, and I don't care. Bottom line is that Gordon is not a lab geek. Whoa... why am I talking so in-depth about a video game? Well, at least it's a gaming website.
