Half-Life 2 is the best developed FPS out of any I can think of, and it is the most revolutionary next to Half-Life. I am not very knowledgeable about FPS history, but Half-Life 2 is definitely up there with the top FPS games.

COD 4 for the win,this is the greatest FPS i have played but i didnt say this is the best of all time but this the one i prefer cause we can choose alot of weapon and you can beat it and wanna do it again.

Yeah, I know! How do you sell 5 awesome games for only 30 bucks? Makes no sense, but hey, I'm not complaining.

Definately Call of Duty 5: World at War, and the replayability is endless.

Why?

Because I know a pagan who is invincible at multiplayer, an excellent ambusher, a talented sniper, a master with grenades, etc. I keep trying to beat him in a match, but I never even find him half the time! He's just a shadow that disappears into the grass just before you find a grenade at your feet

The Call of Duty games are really overrated if you ask me. Just like Halo.

I do like Call of Duty though.

I don't see much of the hype, so I can't comment on that. You can't really get a fad to work here because not many of them are in Gaelic - and, even though it's fairly recent and a minority doing it, there are people who would jump on anything that's not Gaelic here and tear its publicity to pieces

Why counter-strike i not in the vote?Well i dont say its the greatest fps but this is not a bad one with zombie mod(if you get touch your a zombie) and gun game(when you start with pistol and more kill you got more powerful weapon you have).
