The Activation of Advertisements on The Elder Stats

As some of you may have already noticed, there is now a banner advertisement at the bottom of each page of The Elder Stats Temporary Forum. Ads will be the only source of revenue to help pay for the cost of The Elder Stats website, and once the website is completed and released, the increased flow of traffic will cause the price of maintaining the website to go up a bit. Even though the website is not yet available, I figured that it would be a good start to add a banner ad to the bottom of the ES Temporary Forum. Doing this will allow us to generate some small revenue with the small member base that we currently have, while simultaneously giving you all the idea of how ads will be placed on The Elder Stats website once it is released.

If anyone has any questions, comments, or concerns relating to the current or future advertising plans for The Elder Stats website, feel free to post them here. Keep in mind that we are currently able to generate revenue from the ad placed at the bottom of the Temporary Forum, so if you see an ad that looks interesting at the bottom of the page, feel free to click the ad and check it out - it will help us and the advertiser at the same time.

Nice it is good to see we already have people paying for ad's here on the ES.

Well, we're using Google AdSense which takes ads from advertisers that are relevant to the website's content and places them on the website. Those ads aren't necessarily there because advertisers wanted them there. However, in the future as the website becomes more popular, advertisers will probably pay to have their ads posted on ES. You never know.
