Poison apples are fun, but aren't that practical.
Stephen Hawking: I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.

I agree. They drain your health way too fast. Still, in "Oblivion time", I suppose it's equivalent to an acceptable length of time in real time.

Is there even a ratio of Real Time : Oblivion Time? Is it like, "5 minutes : 1 Hour"? It seems like it.

Probably something similar to that. I wonder if anyone has ever gone into the game and timed an hour in-game before. It probably is somewhere around 5 minutes.

The default setting is 1 minute in real-time equals 30 minutes in the game. So, 1 hour in the game is equal to 2 minutes in real life. However, if you're playing on a computer, you can use the "set timescale" console command to change the real time to game time ratio.

Dang, I could get done with the game a lot quicker if I turn the time ration down.
One hour in game = two minutes real time... Whew!

my index finger kinda is bent to clicking on the mouse. so when im scrolling down my ingrediant list i sometimes accidently click on the poison apple, freak out as my health depletes, decide to go out with style and start running towards a cliff or off a bridge or something, fling off the cliff or bridge, then sometimes i land near a wolf or slaughterfish. i though "i wonder what that wolf is saying to himself. did the nine just give me a meal?" then the wolf eats it, gets the poison i got, then dies, then another wolf brings it to a pack and they all eat it and die and a chain reaction where all the wolves in tamriel are extinct.
every time you get a new hammer, a giant orc comes with a bigger one and hits you with it until you give up your hammer. thats why i dont have hammers.
