Must be an early build. Should look SO MUCH BETTER when it's done being polished:

This. It would make the game a hell of a lot more fun. Just think playing as a warrior and your friend playing as a mage and just raiding a dungeon together. Hopefully, you would be able to keep your character you play as in the co-op mode. I hope you can have four players, but two would be alright.

I'm surprised at how many people are against this idea. I took the idea to Besthesda's page on Facebook and met EXTREMELY heavy resistence. Same thing on the Game Informer forums.

And I think they won't add it (Todd Howard said that multiplayer always failed on the whiteboard), however much more fun it would be, as you said, Xavier.

Remember what I told you about elder scroll fans (a majority of them) being extremely "fanboy-ish"? Well, that also applies to the structure of the game. Elder Scrolls has never been multiplayer or co-op. They will go to their graves before they see it become like this.

Personally, I frown on multiplayer in general but I find nothing wrong with a friendly co-op adventure instead of having dumb-as-tar AI follow you instead.

Yes. It is the type of multiplayer the farthest from an MMO. It would be perfect for TES.

If you want a quick top-10 list of some TES dieties, or have time on your hands, go ahead and read this article from IGN. It's rather comical.

More IGN news, peoples.

Orcs look better, but nastier now, like in WoW, or Warhammer.

PS: There are two pages to the article.

Enjoy.

Better in-depth chat with Todd Howard. Highly recommended. Like a video-podcast, sorta.
