Fallout 3

Postby Xavier » November 10th, 2008, 9:12 pm

Did you guys ever hear of this game? I'm sure you have. It's by the makers of Oblivion, Bethesda Softworks. It's an RPG like Oblivion except it takes place in Washington D.C. after a nuclear war in the future. It's a really good game. I have been playing it for the last three days, and so far. Bethesda Softworks does a great job creating these kinds of games. Well, in the game you take place as a character who was contained in a vault when the nuclear war happened. You are supposed to spend your whole life in the vault, but for you, it gets cut short. You wake up one day and find out that your dad has left the Vault for an unknown reason, and the Vault guards are after you. You have to leave the vault and go out into the Washington D.C. Wasteland and find your dad. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense when I say it, but when you play the game you'll understand more of it. If you like Oblivion, there's a good chance you'll like this game too. I personally love it, because of all the things you can get and what you can do.

Once The Elder Stats website is completed and members are able to begin posting their stats, I might consider starting development on a Fallout 3 statistics database, as well. That is only a light idea, and even if I do choose to develop such a site for Fallout 3, it probably wouldn't be developed for a while. I'm focusing on The Elder Stats first. ;)

Played it for about 10 minutes at my brother's house and found it really fun, I just went around gunning people down and finding new stuff.

Yeah, it's great. I find it cool how there are like forts and bases set up by raiders all over the Capitol Wasteland. I also like the traps that are placed in the game, they can be beneficial. Going in the Grocery Stores is cool too.

Well, I did find a big raider camp, and in the middle there was an electric fence with a huge super mutant in it. It was pretty cool. I actually killed one of those huge super mutants during a quest, but there were a lot of people helping me.
