I belive that the TES 5 should alow your charicter to be imported as either a player charicter, as sheogorath or as a follower,
i realy hope that you can have diffrent starting points such as for example the 'prisoner' 'noble' 'soldier' or deadric prince ie sheogorath YOU. what do you guys think? btw sorry for horrible gramer
Should the TES 5 allow charicter imports?

I agree, that would be pretty neat to be able to import your old Oblivion character and continue playing as him or her in TESV. However, I have a feeling that they would not want to connect the two games in that way. You will probably end up starting out at a different point in time, and by allowing you to use a character from Oblivion, that would sort of invalidate the timeline for TESV. Just my thought on it, although it would be pretty neat.

Speaking of TESV... I have seen NOTHING about it, and I'd like to.

I think it would be neat to have them come back as the new 'Sheogorath' if there is an expansion similar to the Shivering Isles.
Silly, but neat.

I like fresh starts... I don't think I'd import my character... I don't even think it'd be an option, with all the changes that I think will have been made... The previous template will be "invalid," if you will.

Yeah, importing your character probably wouldn't make sense for TESV because we don't even know if there will be the same attributes and skills. I mean, maybe you could import your character if you made him look a certain way, that would make sense.

Sure, that makes more sense. By "importing," you'd be going by appearance, not by level. I am in favor of this solution.

It's an idea and I like it. Mass effect took this sometimes used method to a whole new level. But given the number of changes we hear are planned your oblivion build might not be convertable, or would want to.
I would be a procrastinator, but I keep putting it off.

After rethinking this, I'm actually against it. It's 200 years since Oblivion, so you should be a completely new person, not a clone of the Champion....
